Terms of Use
Access to and use of this website both within the UK and internationally is provided by the Shetland Sheep Society on the terms set out below. These terms are subject to change from time to time without notice so should be checked regularly. Continued use of this website will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended terms.

All copyright, trademarks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights in and on this website belong to The Shetland Sheep Society. All rights reserved. Reproduction of part or all of the contents of this website in any form is prohibited other than for personal use or internal business use only and may not be recopied and shared with a third party. All copyright notices in the original material must be retained. This website may not be copied, modified, disassembled, decompiled or reverse engineered in any way for any commercial purpose. The permission to copy for personal and internal business use does not allow for incorporation of material or any part of it in any other web-site, electronic retrieval system, publication or any other work (whether hard copy, electronic or otherwise). The failure or delay of The Shetland Sheep Society to exercise or enforce any right in these terms does not waive The Shetland Sheep Society’s right to enforce that right. These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of, England and Wales which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

Conditions Of Sale
All goods remain the property of The Shetland Sheep Society until paid for in full.
Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk, property in and title to the goods shall remain with the seller until the seller has received payment of the full price of (a) all goods and/or services the subject of the contract and (b) all other goods and / or services supplied by the seller to the buyer under any contract whatsoever. Payment of the full price shall include, without limitation, the amount of any interest or other sum payable under the terms of this and all other contracts between the seller and buyer.
Return of goods
All items for credit must be returned within 30 days of invoice date.
Authorisation must be obtained from The Shetland Sheep Society before the goods are returned.

Authorisation will be given at the discretion of The Shetland Sheep Society.
Where The Shetland Sheep Society agrees to accept back goods in saleable condition for credit, we will be unable to credit any carriage charges and may charge a handling fee of up to 15%.
All items ordered in error must be returned to us at the customers cost.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund if, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase or the goods are faulty or damaged. You must notify us within 5 working days of receiving the products. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. If the returned items are not in a resalable "as new" condition a refund may not be possible. If items are missing from your order, please notify us as soon as possible. This regulation only covers countries that are member states of the EU. If you are ordering from a member state of the EU other than the UK please check you countries regulations on Distance Selling as this may vary. If you are ordering from a country that is outside of the member states of the EU this regulation is not applicable, but we will do our best to adhere to these guidelines in the way your returns are dealt with.
If you are returning an item under Distance Selling, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Note: Goods must be returned to the Merchandise Officer within 7 days of notifying the Merchandise Officer. Returns are sent at your own expense. When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. The Shetland Sheep Society cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. We will only refund the costs of postage where the item returned is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Payment and Prices
We accept payment by credit/debit card or by Pay-Pal.
No goods will be dispatched until full payment has been cleared by the payment provider.
The price payable for goods you order along with carriage charges is as stated on our website at the time you place your order.
We reserve the right to change the price of goods without notice.
Cancellation
Goods are generally dispatched within 24hours of an order being placed (except weekends & Public Holidays). Cancellation of an order must be made by email before the goods are dispatched.
Dispatch Queries
Loss or damage of goods must be notified to us within 5 working days of receipt. Non-receipt of the entire consignment must be notified to us within 14 days of the invoice date.
The Shetland Sheep Society will not accept liability if a claim on the carriers cannot be sustained after this period.
Liability
We will not accept under any circumstances liability for consequential loss or loss of profits arising on any contract.
The Shetland Sheep Society shall not be liable for loss, injury or any damage relating to items supplied by ourselves, warranties extended as far as those given to us by our suppliers.
Goods should be checked upon receipt for damage or faults.
General
All contracts between The Shetland Sheep Society and its customers are in accordance with English Law and shall be governed by the above terms of trade, which replace and override all other terms of trade.
