Shetland Sheep Fleeces & Rugs for sale | Carlisle, Cumbria, North West

A selection of good quality Shetland Sheep fleeces is offered for sale to spinners, weavers, felters and knitters.  Fleeces are mostly light grey/brown, although I do have some black and cream and all are chosen for their soft handle and crimp.  Prices vary from £10 - £20 for each whole, unwashed fleece, depending on size, colours and staple length.  I have shown some examples of my fleeces below to illustrate. Please contact me to see what is available and to discuss what you are looking for, as I use them myself too (see below!). 

Don't fancy crafting with wool?  Why not buy a handmade 'peg loom' rug made from Shetland fleeces!  They make a lovely present.  Rugs are approx 2ft wide by 3ft long and priced at £50 plus postage.  I usually have one ready to go but I can also do 'to order' so if you need a different size or specific colour, please contact me.  You'll find me at 'H&H' Auction Mart Carlisle 'Rare Breeds' sale each September, so I can always bring fleece/s and rug/s to view there. PS - we also sometimes have sheep for sale!
