Cil Wenllan Flock | Machynlleth, Powys, Wales

Shepherded since 2014 by a retired scientist obsessed with colour genetics and fibre testing, Cil Wenllan is a medium sized flock in the hills near Machynlleth.

Currently breeding from Approved rams Castell Glenfiddach and Smali Kingfisher, selecting for dilute colour genetics, fleece with good staple length and high comfort factor, calm and friendly temperament, and good body shape.

For 2024 I have a small selection of ewe lambs and wether lambs available, plus a few older sheep and wethers.  Contact me for photos and further information.  Email is best as I am difficult to reach by phone.

Happy to assist new shepherds in putting together a starter flock and with ongoing mentoring.  Willing to negotiate delivery of sheep within reasonable distance.
